Christmas! Who needs it? Rush
here, rush there, do this, do that. . . don’t worry, be happy. HMMMPH! If
I had my way, we’d just yank December off the calendar and get on with
winter. All this HO! HO! nonsense is making me real tired.
Seemingly content to live alone in a ratty, dilapidated old
apartment, Bah Humbug seems to grouch at everyone who comes to his door.
With only nine days left before Christmas, three elves by the names of Kip,
Sprite, and J.J. set out to revamp Bah’s Christmas spirit. It seems they
try everything, from sending carolers over to sing for him to asking him to
contribute to the Christmas Food Bank--yet nothing seems to spring the lock
he has fastened over his heart. Finally, one night as Bah is sleeping, the
elves sneak into his old apartment and redecorate it for Christmas. When
Bah awakens to find a Christmas tree with ornaments from his childhood
hanging on it, he is very touched. With a new sense of gratitude in his
heart, he joins J.J., Kip, and Sprite and the others for the Christmas
story.
Characters: Bah Humbug, Three elves: Kip, Sprite, and J.J.,
